Leon's brother, Kenny was John's step-dad, married to Ruth Buechler.  We spent many a Saturday morning visiting Ruth, Kenny, Marvin and Leon solving all the problems of the known world.  He was the salt of the earth and cared deeply about his family.  And we benefited from his huge garden and the great tomatoes, peppers, and cukes he brought over to Ruth and Kenny's house.  We will miss you Leon, last of the Buechler brothers.
Love,
Nancy and John Hise

Leon was such a wonderful person who showed us how to live our faith.  Always giving of himself to others, being positive about life, and showing us how to laugh. My nephews and their families have to feel very blessed to have had such an awesome grandfather to leave so many fond memories.  I know Moose and I have many ourselves of Leon as the years have went by.

Thanks Leon for always putting a smile on our face from being around you!
We Loved You!

To Pastor Doug, Bev and the family of Leon Buechler,

Jesus said:  "Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to  prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going."  (John 14:1-4 NIV)
"I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."  (John 14:6 NIV)

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afarid."  (John 14:27 NIV)

May the Lord comfort you, enfold you in His loving arms and fill you with the hope of knowing there is a future eternity with Him in heaven.  You can be confident in that Leon is already there with Jesus.

You are in our prayers.
